Bangkok day 1: Asiatique Night Market

I’m back after disappearing for a while. I’m just back from Hat Yai, Thailand.  So, let me continue blogging with my bangkok trip. After we got to check in our hotel rooms, we went to filled our stomachs

My aunt’s favourite shop for wanton mee

Thai Milk Tea

This is seriously the best thai milk tea I ever had, the richness of the milk~ Yummy, I want one right now!

Dumpling wanton mee

Wanton mee

Crabmeat mee

Tom yum wanton mee

Fish maw soup

Egg soup

Lui sha bao

After eating, we just walked around central world & later we proceed to Asiatique!~

The streets of Thailand is never unfamiliar to me because I can spot Nichkhun on the streets always. Seeing each of his poster just makes me smile = ]

We went shopping around & spend some time at the photo booth for some shots!

Before entering the MRT station, there was McDonald Kiosk and look at there cool drinks menu! Something that you cannot find in Sg! But I still haven’t tried their bubble tea, wonder how they taste like…

BTS & their rabbit MRT card

Sawadee Mario~ ^^

To Asiatique, you have to alight at Saphan Taskin station & take exit 2. They provide free shuttle boat to Asiatique  starting from 5pm & their last boat is at 11.30pm so be aware!

The queue was quite long when we reached there but it was fast enough too. At the meanwhile, you can enjoy the night scenery at chao phraya river too

Soon, we board on the boat and now heading towards Asiatique!! *Excited*

Streets of Asiatique

They are different from other night markets in the city as Asiatique are more peaceful because of lesser noise, streets with no cars & cleanlier food because no vehicles are allow to drive in the streets of market

Some of the cute stuffs that attracted me. Yes, they do still sell clothes like other night markets. But the last 2 pics, are for body scrubs but so cute!! After shopping for a while, the rain starts pouring so we went to take our dinner~

I couldn’t remember the name of the restaurant because I didn’t even look at it >< It is like a little pub serving alcoholic drinks too & a section of the restaurant there is a live band performing for customers!

My uncle recommend this place to us because of the delicious food he had during his previous trip. Truly enough, everything was really delicious except the mussels. I was really amaze with their pasta, it was really tasty and not dry. This is probably the best pasta I ever ate!!

As the night went later, more people are coming to Asiatique so it would be better if you can come a little earlier

Mcfloat from Mac

Macarons from Asiatique! I have been spamming Macarons during my Thai trip, they are cheaper than in Sg so why not?! And the best macarons I had for this whole trip from BOCHA at Asiatique!
