As we arrived, we were greeted with the spacious grounds of Laguna National Golf Resort Club & Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore.

It’s rare to find a hotel in Singapore that is tucked far from the bustling city. Thus, Dusti Thani Laguna Singapore offers a unique staying experience.  The entire ambience of the hotel is filled with Vibrant Thai resort vibe that sets you in a vacation mode.

Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore is a luxury urban golf resort that is located within 2 championship golf courses. Traveling to Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore isn’t a hassle because complimentary shuttle service is provided from Changi City Point/Expo MRT & Jewel Changi Airport to the hotel.

Directly from it’s lobby,  we could get a glimpse of its iconic swimming pool & golf course that make us so excited for our staycation! Even at the hotel, you can spot how Dusit blend some Thai elements around the resort preserving its Thai brand name.

Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore: Deluxe Laguna room

As Singapore’s borders are open and ceased Covid restrictions, Singapore would be expecting more international travelers and events. Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore is next to Laguna National Golf Resort Club so it’s the perfect accommodation for golfers who are spending a golf holiday in Singapore.

Dusit Thani Singapore is newly opened on 4 Dec 2020 so the hotel amenities are pretty new.  I have booked a Deluxe Laguna room with twin beds & it comes with a city view. We were slightly disappointed with the city view because it was a view of an undergoing construction nearby.

The interior design of the room is quite appealing and elegant. I adore how the room looks bright, clean and airy. The only rant we have is hoping for a bigger room so there are more space for us to roam around the room and a sofa for us to sit and laze around.

Bonus brownie points for the extensive complimentary mini bar, coffee machine and natural mineral water provided.

The bathroom had everything I could ask for, a bathtub would have been more ideal.  Essential bathroom necessities was also provided. For a more decent room view, you can book the Deluxe Laguna Pool view room at an additional cost. Different types of rooms are available so you can book your preferred room.

Highlight of Dusit Thani Singapore’s swimming pool 

The moment I stepped into the pool area, I felt I had been teleported to Bali. Along the poolside, there is a stretch of villa and swimming pools welcoming you. There are three swimming pools – Kids pool, Lap pool & relaxation pool available.

Spent a relaxing afternoon dipping in the swimming pool and basking in the sun while spotting the planes as they whizz by above! The entire experience is as close as going on a overseas vacation.

Behind the pool villa, you can spot golfers teeing off. It was a pretty unusual sight in Singapore! Once its safer to travel again, travelers can enjoy golf at Laguna National Golf Resort Club and rest at Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore. It’s very convenient for travelers as it’s a hotel neat Changi Airport.

Dining at Greenhouse

Another highlight of Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore is dining at Greenhouse. The Greenhouse is a forest-themed restaurant that is elegantly statement-looking and filled with a strong Bali vibe. Enhancing the restaurant with beautiful lush plants and rattan light fixtures that sets the prefect mood.

Glad that the plants are well-maintained so it’s a pleasure to have them around.

My hotel package includes a Deluxe Laguna room, welcome drinks, afternoon tea set & breakfast buffet for 2 person.

Impressed with their 3-tier afternoon set, the high tea set was a spread! Every pastry was delicious and now I wish I could have their afternoon tea set again!  I was so excited about the high tea set that I forgot to take a photo of the high tea set.

In the night, remember to take a stroll at outside Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore to admire the beautiful building and the cooling night breeze. There are many open space so it’s definitely a good idea to unwind yourself!

Apart from the golf course, there aren’t many commercial tall buildings around & the surrounding greenery creates a relaxed atmosphere.

After a night staying at Dusit Thani Laguna, it was one of the best Singapore staycation that I had. If you are keen on to book a staycation to let your hair down, highly recommend to book  Dusit Thani Singapore. I am in love with the resort vibe, every corner of the resort is instagrammable and it was really a quick escape that I needed.

If I were to be back to Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore again,  I would want to book the Deluxe Laguna Pool view room for a better room view.  Book your well-deserved staycation today to de-stress yourself!
