Do expect some walking distance from Eco Palladium to Eco Spring Labs. Despite having visited only Eco Spring labs, I still strongly recommend visiting Eco Palladium.
Eco Spring Labs
In Eco Spring Labs, rows of colourful shophouses that were so instagrammable that remind you of Europe. We secretly wished the weather was cold so we could appreciate this place in a more beautiful mood.

早尚好 Good Morning Food Truck
We visited Eco Spring Labs on a Monday so not many shops were open. There were lesser food choices over here as compared to Eco Palladium. Therefore, we chose to eat our lunch at 早尚好 Good Morning Food Truck. A Taiwanese cafe that served both Taiwanese food and Malaysian food. I ordered Taiwanese breakfast as I had been craving for Taiwanese breakfast.
Taiwanese breakfast
Even the Taiwanese breakfast look instaworthy in the photo! We ordered pork egg toast (with peanut butter), pork wraps & scallion. Overall the taste of the food was average, I don’t think that peanut butter goes well with pork egg toast. Can’t wait to travel to Taiwan for authentic Taiwanese breakfast!
Morihana Pastry 森花手工烘焙
Taking a stroll before visiting the next cafe! It’s hard to pick a favorite corner of the Eco Spring Labs because all the cafes and restaurants are extra Instagram-worthy.
Soil Cafe
Next, we went cafe hopping at Soil cafe. Soil cafe is a small and cozy cafe with a minimalist interior design with a few seats. Soil cafe specializes in beverages and pastries, it would be great if brunch is available.
With so many pastries to choose from Soil cafe, you are definitely spoiled for choice. After tasting their pastries, they were crispy, tasty with loads of fillings, definitely worth your money. While their coffee tastes average, I ordered Matcha Espresso and couldn’t taste any matcha flavor.
Be sure to include Eco Spring Labs and Eco Palladium in your bucket list when planning a day trip to Johor Bahru Malaysia. It’s just 30 minutes away from the checkpoint, it is an easy getaway destination for some European vibes and level up your Instagram right now!
