Chiangmai Day 1: #travelessoridinary with Tigerair

This is probably the best thing that has ever happened to be!

I FREAKING WIN AN AIR TICKET FROM TIGERAIR last year

Yes, it is the best gift ever~

Tigerair had opened a new route to Chiangmai last year and they specially held a contest for us to win free tickets on last year Nov.

THANK YOU TIGERAIR FOR THIS SURPRISE! BIG LOVE~

Chiangmai Airport

I explored Chiangmai with both of my parents (:
We traveled to Chiangmai for 4D3N and we rested at an average hotel, Chiangmai Plaza Hotel

What was stunning was it’s view…

It was about dinner time when we have landed Chiangmai

There was a Teochew Restaurant across our hotel and we settled down there for our meal.

Fried carrot cake

Tom Yum Soup

Pork Jelly

The restaurant served decent and delicious meals for us and we mostly settle our meals at there because it seems there is nowhere as decent as this restaurant.I’m kinda of missing the carrot cake now, yummy…

Night Market

There was a stretch of night market near our hotel and they were basically selling almost similar stuff along the street.
Chiangmai VS Bangkok

– Chiangmai is more of village as compared to Bangkok, a buzzing city
– Chiangmai is a beauty for sightseeing such as gorgeous mountain and waterfall
– Chiangmai is not a shopping heaven and Bangkok let you shop till you drop!
–  Chiangmai is less accessible than Bangkok so I would advise you to sign up with tour package with their local travel agency in your hotels and you will get cheaper deals also!
P/S: I will share more tourist attractions on the following Chiangmai post, do continue to drop by!
