Naksan Park, view Seoul city: Overlooking N-Seoul Tower

This’s probably the best place in Seoul to catch the most breathtaking night view. Even the day view is perfect too, overseeing the N-Seoul Tower from Naksan park.

Naksan park is located in the neighbourhood of the local. Visiting a neighbourhood where the locals stay is also another way to experience travelling. Naksan park is at the top of the mountain, you are able to get plenty of fresh air and magnificent Seoul city view from the peak.

Walking around the neighbourhood is like personal experiencing what I have always seen in the korean drama.  Now I get to experience it myself, kind of exciting to me.

Seoul Accommodation

Korea Roof top house

Seeing rooftop houses for the first time, I always think that living in the rooftop house is kinda of romantic. As the rooftop houses that appeared in the korean drama always have really nice view that makes me wanna stay there.

Korea laundry shop

Even there’s some sentimental feeling when I see the laundry shop that always appears in the Korean drama. Such a nostalgic feeling…

After passing through the shops and houses, finally reached Naksan park in no time.

Before that, you have to walk up the slope and climb a fleet of staircase to reach Naksan park.

Naksan park: View of Seoul City

Away from the bustling city for a moment, the view of Seoul city from Naksan park looks peaceful. I would recommend you to visit here if you are up to appreciate what the elderly locals do daily or enjoy the view of Seoul city from afar.

It’s definitely worthwhile to stop by here to appreciate this view. The night view at Naksan park could be even more stunning with the lights came alive~

Nevertheless, if you are up for more lively activities that youngsters gather in Seoul, check out things to do in Hongdae to get a feel of the young vibe!

Drinking from the tap water that always appears in the Korean drama.

I  really wonder if it is spring water from the mountain?

Naksan park: Exercise corner

The air is really good at the top of the mountain and even the elderly came there to do exercise. Where to find free admission exercise corner with such breathtaking scenery! I would come here for a walk & exercise everyday if I were to live in this neighbourhood.

If you were to visit Korea during Autumn, Naksan park is a tranquil place to watch autumn leaves in Seoul. However, if you want to view wild autumn leaves in the mountain, Seoraksan National Park is an ideal place to go and remember to ride on the Seoraksan cable car if hiking is not your cup of tea!

Naksan park: Seoul Fortress Wall (Seoul Seonggwak)

Besides the breathtaking scenery at Naksan park, it is also a place full of history because of the Seoul Fortress Wall (Seoul Seonggwak). Seoul Fortress Wall was built during the Joseon Dynasty to protect their people from enemies.

Though it is built for protection purpose, isn’t it a beauty? Naksan park is an ideal romantic spot for dating too!

It was autumn when I visited Naksan park. With the cooling breeze, walking up the hill isn’t a hard task. Naksan park is a place worth to do autumn leaves watching, spot the leaves turning to red. You can visit Ihwa Mural Village which is around this neighbourhood if you are interested in Korea street art for some insta worthy picture.
